Main duties of the job
As a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant, your focus will be to support the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the resident's physical, cognitive, and social well-being. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe living and working environment, reporting any changes in residents' condition, and supporting with ordering and preparing supplies for upcoming activities. The role requires effective communication skills, understanding of the role interaction plays in well-being, a positive attitude towards older people, and previous experience working with older people in a residential nursing Dementia setting.
