Job summary
This role as a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant at Avery Healthcare in Bournemouth provides an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of residents in a caring and supportive environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the Wellbeing Coordinator to plan and deliver a range of engaging activities that promote the physical, cognitive, and social well-being of the residents.
Main duties of the job
As a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant, you will support the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a safe environment, reporting any changes in residents' condition, ordering and preparing supplies for upcoming activities, and establishing links with the local community to encourage resident participation.
