Job summary

This role as a Senior Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare in Wombourne offers a competitive salary of £12.50 per hour for a permanent position. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the care team in delivering high-quality, person-centered care to residents, ensuring a safe, caring, and inclusive environment.

Main duties of the job

As a Senior Care Assistant, your primary focus will be to support and work alongside the care team to provide exceptional personal care to residents. This will involve monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being involved in the care planning process, supporting residents with their medication needs, and acting as a key point of contact for residents, their families, and healthcare professionals. You will also be responsible for undertaking staff supervisions and supporting the development of the care team.

  • Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.
  • Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
  • Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
  • Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated.
