Job summary
This is a role for an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join the award-winning team at Avery Healthcare's care home in Knowle. You will be responsible for supporting the care team in delivering high-quality, person-centered care to residents, with a focus on maintaining a safe, caring, and inclusive environment. Main duties of the job
As a Senior Care Assistant, your primary focus will be to support and work alongside the care team to deliver excellent personal care to residents. You will be responsible for monitoring residents' wellbeing, updating care plans, and supporting medication requirements. Additionally, you will undertake staff supervisions and act as a key point of contact for residents, their families, and healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care, 2 years' experience in a similar environment, and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. A positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff is essential.
