Job summary
This is a permanent Senior Care Assistant role working nights at Avery Healthcare's care home in Knowle. The role involves supporting the care team in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents, while promoting a safe, caring, and inclusive environment. The successful candidate will have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care, 2 years' experience in a similar care setting, and the ability to communicate effectively.
Main duties of the job
As a Senior Care Assistant, your focus will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff. Other responsibilities will include monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being involved in the person-centred care planning process, supporting residents with their medication requirements, and undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
