Main duties of the job
As a Registered Nurse at Avery Healthcare, you will be responsible for acting as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required, and ensuring high standards of care for the residents. Your duties will include undertaking nursing tasks such as medication distribution, dressings, catheterization, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions. You will also be responsible for advising families and GPs of any changes in resident conditions, as well as effectively deploying and supervising the care team to ensure all tasks are completed and residents receive the required care. Additionally, you will be expected to provide high-quality care by undertaking accurate assessment and planning.
