Job summary
As a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you will be responsible for supporting the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, cognitive, and social well-being. You will be part of a caring, supportive, and empowered team that is committed to creating meaningful experiences for our residents.
Main duties of the job
The Wellbeing and Activities Assistant role involves maintaining a safe living and working environment, contributing to the positive and professional image of the home, reporting any changes in residents' physical or emotional condition, supporting with ordering and preparing supplies for upcoming activities, and establishing links with the local community to encourage access and promote intergenerational activity.
