Job summary

This role as a Housekeeping Assistant at Avery Healthcare's care home in Beaconsfield offers an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive and rewarding environment. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and laundry within the home, while treating residents with dignity and respect.

Main duties of the job

As a Housekeeping Assistant, your primary focus will be to work as part of a team to ensure all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained in the home. You will operate according to the care home's standard operating procedures, maintaining hotel service standards. Other responsibilities will include carrying out cleaning duties, understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings, and respecting residents' personal space and belongings.

  • Carrying out all cleaning dutiesin accordance withworksheetinstructions.
  • Understandingthe cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
  • Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.
