Main duties of the job
As a Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you will be responsible for assisting residents with their personal hygiene and daily care, ensuring their independence, dignity, and respect. You will also be expected to recognize and understand clinical risk areas, such as weight loss, pressure sores, and signs of infection, and escalate any identified risks in a timely manner. Additionally, you will be required to act courteously towards residents and their visitors, practicing safe systems of work across a range of tasks.
