The Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator role focuses on providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, psychological, and social well-being, while promoting privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights, and fulfilment.
Main duties of the job
As the Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator, your responsibilities will include identifying residents' life histories, needs, and preferences, planning and submitting monthly activity and wellbeing plans, arranging activities and events, and maintaining a safe living and working environment. You will need previous experience working with older people in a residential nursing Dementia setting, as well as strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards older people.
