Main duties of the job

As a Learning and Development Facilitator at Avery Healthcare, you will be responsible for driving performance and quality within the homes through the delivery of quality assured training to the team. Your focus will be on ensuring that the organization has a competent and compliant team to deliver exceptional care to the residents. Key responsibilities include leading training sessions, identifying learning needs, planning and designing engaging learning courses, facilitating interactive induction and refresher courses, and assessing learner knowledge, confidence, and understanding throughout the training process.

  • Identifying learning needs using the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Planning and designing engaging learning courses and content.
  • Facilitating interactive induction and refresher courses, both face-to-face and virtually, accurately recording training sessions in the LMS.
  • Assessing learner knowledge, confidence, and understanding throughout training.
