Job summary

As a Sous Chef at their Avonmere Care Home in Downend, Bristol, you will support the Head Chef in leading a culinary team that provides high-quality, nutritionally balanced meals to the residents.
Main duties of the job
As a Sous Chef, your focus will be to assist the Head Chef in delivering a comprehensive and quality culinary service that contributes to the overall well-being of the residents. This will involve preparing modified diets, supervising and directing the work of culinary staff, and ensuring all food preparation meets the highest hygiene standards. You will also be responsible for supporting the team in understanding the Avery Food safety management system.
