Job summary
The Dementia Care Manager role at Avery Healthcare is responsible for the overall management of the Dementia Community, implementing and embedding the company's dementia care strategy and managing resources within a given budget. The role involves building caring relationships with residents and families, promoting a culture that enables residents to maximize their capabilities, and working closely with the Activities Team to ensure the development of meaningful activities for residents with Dementia.
Main duties of the job
As a Dementia Care Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the plan care day is accurate and reflected in the care needs summary, building caring relationships with residents and families, working closely with the Activities Team to develop meaningful activities for residents with Dementia, and promoting a culture that enables residents to maximize their capabilities and enhance their quality of life.
