ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus asaResidential Care Managerwill be tomanage the group ofCare Supervisors within the home ensuring thatahigh-qualitydeliveryofpersonal care is delivered to our residents.Youwill beanadvocate forall residents,maintainingthebestinterest in all areasofthe resident's wellbeing.

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:

• Co-ordinating theresident assessmentprocess, ensuringthatthe planned careisaccurate andreflected in each individual care plan.
• Supporting,guiding,anddevelopingtheirteammembers.
• Managing the process of ensuring that all equipment is stored in line with the manufacturer'sinstruction and is cleanedandstored appropriatelyafteruse.

• Ensuringcompliance with theSafe Medication Management programme, with robust auditing procedures.
• UndertakingQualityCareSpotChecksreportingonthe qualityofcareprovidedbyCareSupervisors, CarersandSeniorCarers withintheir team.

Our ideal candidatemusthave:

• NVQ Level 4 in Care or equivalent.
• A Minimum of two years' experience in long-termcareor similarindustry.
• Comprehensiveunderstandingof CQC Fundamental Standards.
• Experience in leading a team in a similar care environment.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

• NVQ Level 4 in Care or equivalent, a minimum of two years' experience in long-term care or a similar industry, and a comprehensive understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards.
