Job summary
This is a role for a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join the friendly, award-winning team at Avery Healthcare. You will focus on supporting the care team to deliver high standards of personal care and create a safe, caring, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Main duties of the job
As a Senior Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include monitoring the wellbeing of residents, being involved in the person-centred care planning process, supporting residents with their medication requirements, undertaking staff supervisions, and acting as a key point of contact with residents, their relatives, and healthcare professionals. You will need to have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes, 2 years' experience in a similar care environment, and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
