Job summary
The role of Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator at Merlin Court Care Home in Marlborough, Wiltshire, is to provide a wide range of activities that engage and stimulate the physical, psychological, and social well-being of the residents. The successful candidate will be compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated, with experience in working with older people in a residential nursing Dementia setting.
Main duties of the job
As the Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for understanding the needs and preferences of residents, planning and submitting monthly activity and wellbeing plans, arranging activities and events, and maintaining a safe living and working environment. You will need to have effective communication skills, a positive attitude towards older people, and a commitment to providing stimulating, quality activities and social events.
