Job summary
This role as a Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator at Pemberley House Care Home in Basingstoke, Hampshire, involves providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, psychological, and social well-being. The successful candidate will understand the need to promote the philosophy of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights, and fulfilment for all residents.
Main duties of the job
As the Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator, your responsibilities will include identifying the life history, needs, and preferences of residents, planning and submitting monthly activity and wellbeing plans, arranging activities and events, and maintaining a safe living and working environment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with older people in a residential nursing Dementia setting, as well as effective communication skills and a positive attitude toward older people.
