Main duties of the job

As the Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator, your focus will be to plan and deliver a variety of activities and events that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of the residents. You will work closely with the residents, their families, and the care team to understand their life histories and tailor the activities accordingly. Your responsibilities will include identifying residents' needs, planning and submitting monthly activity and wellbeing plans, arranging activities and outings, and maintaining a safe and positive environment.

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:

  • Identifyingthe life history, needs, and preferences of residents by listening to them and their families to support the development of a detailed life story.
  • Planning andsubmittingto the Home Manager- a monthly activity and wellbeing plan and a weekly overview.
  • Arranging activities, events, and outings, encouraging the involvement of staff, relatives, and visitors.
  • Maintaining a safe living and working environment, contributing to the positive and professional image of the home.
