Main duties of the job

As a Housekeeper Assistant, you will work as part of a team to ensure that all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained in the home. This will involve carrying out cleaning duties according to instructions, understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and materials, and treating residents with dignity and respect. You will need knowledge of health and safety, particularly in areas like moving and handling, fire safety, and COSHH assessments, as well as experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting. Package Description: Shift Details : 3 days / week, 8.00 - 16.00 flexible to include every other weekend

Your focus as Housekeeping Assistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained in the home.You will operate according to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards are maintained.

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:

  • Carrying out all cleaning dutiesin accordance withworksheetinstructions.
  • Understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials,ensuringthat all areas are well presented andmaintainedin good condition.
  • Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.
