Job summary
This is a great opportunity to join Avery Healthcare, one of the largest providers of luxury elderly care homes in the UK, as a Senior Care Assistant. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centered care to the residents while supporting the care team and fostering an inclusive environment.
Main duties of the job
As a Senior Care Assistant, your focus will be on supporting and working alongside the care team to deliver exceptional personal care, ensuring a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff. You will be responsible for monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being involved in the care planning process, supporting residents with their medication requirements, and undertaking staff supervisions and development where required. You will also act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, and health and social care professionals.
