Job summary
This is a Senior Care Assistant role at Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The role involves supporting and working alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Main duties of the job
As a Senior Care Assistant, your focus will be on monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changes impacting their care and care plans, and ensuring that new needs are met. You will be involved in the person-centred care planning process, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating care plans. You will also be responsible for supporting residents with their medication requirements, undertaking staff supervisions, and being a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, and healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate must have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes, 2 years' experience in a similar care environment, effective communication skills, and a positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
