Job summary
This is a role for a Senior Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, one of the largest providers of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the care team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents, ensuring their wellbeing and safety. The role involves monitoring residents' care plans, administering medication, supervising staff, and acting as a key point of contact for residents, their families, and healthcare professionals.
Main duties of the job
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff. Your duties will include monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being involved in the person-centred care planning process, supporting residents with their medication requirements, and undertaking staff supervisions. You will also act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing.
