Avery Healthcare is seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic and dedicated receptionist to join their friendly, award-winning team at Merlin Court Care Home in Marlborough, Wiltshire. The role involves providing professional, high-quality customer service as the first point of contact within the home, as well as administrative support.

Main duties of the job

As a receptionist, your key responsibilities will include answering the telephone, responding to enquiries, redirecting calls, and maintaining reception-related administration. You will also assist the General Manager with various administrative tasks and help ensure the reception area is well-maintained.

Your focus asareceptionistwill be tooffer professional, high quality customer service as first point of contact within the homeas well asprovidinga range of administrative services.

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:

  • Answering the telephone and responding to enquiries at reception, redirecting calls to relevant staff and recording messages accordingly.
  • Completingreception-related administration,maintainingdatabases,and providing administrativeassistanceas required by the General Manager.
  • Maintainingthe general tidiness of the reception area, liaising with Housekeeping to ensure standards aremaintained.
