Main duties of the job

What are we looking for in our Care Home Managers?

• Strong clinical knowledge and expertise, plus an LMCS, RMA or equivalent management qualification

• You will know how to make a positive difference within a heavily regulated sector, as you'll have a strong commercial acumen and strategic mind

• The ability to develop an environment which focuses on continuous improvements

• An effective communicator, with a confident and influential leadership style

Abbotsleigh Mews is a purpose-built care home made up of four single-story houses to offer a range of care in sensitive and supportive environments, offering nursing and residential care, including dementia, short stay, convalescence and palliative care.The home is surrounded by landscaped grounds and award-winning gardens that have beensuccessful in securing the Bexley in Bloom' garden of the year award. Residents also have a choice of lounge and dining areas, a sensory room and activities rooms.A versatile activities programme aims to help residents maintain their independence as long as possible. Residents can enjoy a wide range of hobbies, coffee mornings, outings, music and other games, arts and crafts as well as weekly visits from the neighbouring nursery and part of an ongoing initiative to help bring old and young people together.
