Right now, were looking for a Registered Nurse to develop their nursing career at our Cottenham Court Care Home in Cambridge.

Working hours and salary £19.83 - £21.89 per hour + £1000 welcome bonus, paid breaks & Bupa benefits Also offering Weekends enhancement of £1.50 p/h & Overtime enhancement of £2.00 p/h8am 8pm OR 8pm 8am Full time, part time & bank contracts available (minimum permanent contract offered is 12 hours)

Should you be successfully hired in to this role, we are pleased to be able to offer you a one-off Starter Bonus of £1000 as a thank you for deciding to join Bupa Care Services. The Starter Bonus will be paid to you in the next available pay run once you have completed four weeks service and will be subject to deductions for tax and NI. Ts &Cs Apply.

Main duties of the job

What your typical day involves

  • Youll take responsibility for the well-being of our residents including; making sure their physical, emotional and social needs are met
  • Carrying out assessments, youll develop, implement and evaluate individualised care plans for each of our residents
  • Youll monitor work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to the relevant standards, policies and legislation
  • Delivering clinical guidance to your care team, youll lead, motivate and mentor this team to ensure the safe and efficient day to day running of the care home
  • Always promoting our residents independence, choice and dignity by delivering the very best standards of care and striving for continuous improvement
