Main duties of the job

  • Previous experience with care in the community.
  • Teaching/mentoring qualification(s).
  • Well-versed in technical and practical nursing skills such as monitoring vitals (including Waterlow and MUST assessment, catheterisation, administering medication, blood taking, etc).
  • Superb communication skills, able to adapt in style for differing audiences and learners.
  • Excellent IT skills, confident with presentations.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • A positive mental attitude, with a personable, enthusiastic and motivated approach; and able to develop effective and trusting relationships at all levels.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to meet the changing needs of the organisation.
