Job summary
This is a unique service within Hedge End offering supporting living, enabling people to live as independently as possible within their own homes and local community. The role involves encouraging people to play active roles in the communities in which they live, supporting activities of daily living, communicating effectively, engaging and promoting quality of life, supporting those who may need positive behavioural support approaches, and keeping accurate records.
Main duties of the job
You will need to be enthusiastic, have great people skills, and a positive and proactive approach to your role, supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health and complex needs. The job involves offering encouragement, support, communication, engagement, specialization, recording, and working as part of a team.
