Job summary

The role of a Support Worker at Enable is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young individuals with complex support needs. You will be responsible for delivering positive person-centred outcomes, supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health, and other complex needs.

Main duties of the job

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for encouraging the people you support to play active roles in their local communities and promoting their independence. Your daily tasks will include supporting with activities of daily living, social activities, personal care, routines, meal planning and preparation, and budgeting. Effective communication and engagement are key, as you will be working to enhance the quality of life for the individuals you support, including those who may require positive behavioural support approaches. You will be part of a team, working collaboratively while also demonstrating the ability to work independently.

You will need to be enthusiastic, have great people skills, and a positive and proactive approach to your role, supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health and complex needs.

Where youll be working:

Furlong Close- Rowde - Devizes

We support up to 38 people living across 7 bungalows in the heart of Wiltshire, just outside the market town of Devizes.

This is a unique service within Wiltshire offering supporting living, enabling people to live as independently as possible within their own homes and local community.

We are looking for support workers to join our amazing team, to continue delivering outstanding outcomes.
