Main duties of the job

As a Domestic Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include communal cleaning, ensuring the communal areas are kept clean and safe for residents and staff. You will also be responsible for domestic tasks such as dusting, polishing, and thoroughly vacuuming the residents' bedrooms, while using appropriate warning signs when required. You will work closely with the home management team to ensure the home meets the standards of hygiene and cleanliness. Additionally, you will provide support, communication, and engagement to the residents, fostering a sense of companionship.

  • Communal cleaning ensure the communal areas are kept clean and safe for residents and employees
  • Domestic tasks -dust, polish and vacuum residents bedrooms thoroughly and ensuring use of appropriate warning signs when required
  • Collaboration - work closely with the home management team to ensure the home meets the standards of hygiene and cleanliness
  • Companionship- Provide support, communication and engagement to residents.
