Main duties of the job

As a Care Assistant Nights, you will be responsible for providing a range of care services to the residents, including personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, and social engagement. You will work closely with the nursing team to ensure the residents' needs are met and that they receive the highest quality of care. The role requires a minimum of 12 months' right to work in the UK and availability for night shifts, including alternate weekends.

A day in the life of a Care Assistant

  • Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
  • Personal care-supporting with a wash bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care.
  • Medication-Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
  • Meals Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
  • Domestic tasks- light cleaning tasks.
  • Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility.
  • Social activities- Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
