Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist with a passion for mental health? Join our dedicated team at Baldock Manor Hospital, a leading psychiatric hospital, and help shape the future of recovery-focused care.

Main duties of the job

Youll be working with adults in an inpatient setting who are living with complex mental health needs. As part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team, youll assess, plan, and deliver personalised, evidence-based therapeutic programmes aimed at promoting recovery, building independence, and improving quality of life.In this role, youll also supervise junior OT staff and contribute to the development of innovative occupational therapy services across the hospital.

About us

Baldock Manor is a 40-bed hospital in north Hertfordshire that provides specialist psychiatric services for adults. The hospital has two female PICU (Psychiatric Intensive Care) wards and two acute wards.Our PICU services provide care and support for women at crisis level with a severe mental disorder who require rapid assessment and stabilisation.Our acute wards care for older adults, usually 55 years or older, who need a short-term hospital stay, where we can stabilise their mental health. The average stay in our acute wards is less than forty days.
