Job summary
As the Admin Supervisor your main responsibilities will include:
Overseeing and supervising work in the Dental X-ray Protection Services (DXPS) admin office, ensuring an effective sharing of the workload and a smooth workflow.
Prioritising routine tasks and monitoring staff performance against output targets to ensure that deadlines are met.
Assisting with the full range of admin tasks within the DXPS admin office; as a supervisor this will include tackling any atypical issues associated with the routine tasks.
Main duties of the job
The job holder will be required to carry out the following responsibilities, activities and duties:
Monitoring and planning the workflow in the DXPS office:
o Ensuring that there is effective administrative support for the range of duties required
o Continually reviewing procedures to ensure that work is carried out in the most efficient manner
o Regular communication with DXPS Service Managers and contribution to DXPS group meetings
Supervision of the DXPS admin team.
Overseeing the routine financial aspects of DXPS admin, including use and supervision of the money and people services (MAPS) system.
Overseeing the issuing of contracts to both dental trade companies and dentists.
Carrying out the full range of admin functions within the DXPS office as required; this includes assisting with the tasks carried out by the other members of the admin team.
