This post attracts a non-pensionable Market Pay Supplement of £5,000 pro-rata, per annum, (this is in addition to basic salary)
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Systems Trainer to join our Communications and Training team and support the delivery of a professional and expert systems and support service in order to optimise decision making and financial, supply chain and workforce management across UKHSA through the continual service improvement of our Oracle Cloud applications, referred to as Money and People Services, (MaPS).
The Systems Trainer - Communications and Training role will be responsible for supporting the delivery of continual service improvement by helping to manage and maintain a single, continuously updated repository for all knowledge relating to all of our Oracle Cloud applications, working to ensure that users are aware of and engage with relevant knowledge content, (by helping to embed the use of Oracle Guided Learning, Knowledgebase and other knowledge capabilities) and providing high-quality training to enable staff to perform any MaPS related process and to support the user community to ensure the correct use of the MaPS system.
Main duties of the job
Your main responsibilities will include:
To support the delivery a professional and expert systems and support service in order to optimise decision making and financial, supply chain and workforce management across UKHSA;
- Develop and update systems guidance and training packages.
- Design training courses to upskill users on processes and systems.
- Provide expert advice regarding systems and technology to internal stakeholders.
- Lead the development of system technologies being a focal point for change and a subject matter expert.
The job holder will be required to carry out the following responsibilities, activities and duties:
- To ensure that knowledge relating to MaPS is located and maintained within the MaPS toolset, (e.g. MaPS Guided Learning, MaPS Knowledge base, MaPS based training) as defined by the Training and Communications Strategy.
- To ensure the knowledge repository is regression tested in line with any configuration changes e.g. Quarterly patching.
- To support engagement with stakeholders across Finance and Corporate Services, Commercial and People as well as the wider organisation to promote the use of all knowledge management tools.
