Job summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Business Analyst with strong values and behaviours and proven track record of driving transformative change to work with us on the UKHSA Change Programme, which is based in our People Group and sponsored by our Chief Executive.

This is a Fixed Term Contract with an end date on 29/03/2024.

Location

Main location is Canary Wharf, London, but this vacancy can be worked from any UKHSA location.

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) offers hybrid working - this means that whilst the role will be based in one of our offices, there will be opportunities for an element of working from home. UKHSA have office locations across the UK.

This role can be based at one of our UKHSA offices/locations (Leeds, Manchester, Totnes, London, Horsham, Cardiff, Bristol, Nottingham, Harlow, Liverpool, Fareham, Gloucester, Newcastle and Birmingham) with opportunities for an element of working from home. You will be asked to express a location preference during the application process.

Main duties of the job

  • As Lead Business Analyst you will be you will be responsible for delivering critical multiple projects that impact the efficiency and overall effectiveness of our organisation. Your role will be multifaceted, encompassing business analysis, project management, and collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • You will be responsible for understanding and analysing user and business needs for projects which will typically be very high in complexity.
  • You will ensure that outcomes are aligned with the service vision and business strategy, contributing to the link between current and future business models and delivering to business architecture.
  • Acting as a critical friend you will challenge constructively to achieve solutions that are fit for purpose, facilitate collaboration and communicate with all stakeholders to support the design, build and delivery to meet the user needs.
  • This role has a focus on business transformation and change, with an emphasis on operating models.
  • You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of the various project you are assigned, ensuring that the objectives are clearly defined and achieved within the agreed time, cost and quality constraints.
  • You will be able to develop and maintain project plans and determine appropriate delivery methodology. Setting project controls, managing performance and report progress to sponsors.
