Main duties of the job
We are looking for an M365 User Adoption and Training Specialist to work within the Specialist Communications and End User Services team.
The M365 User Adoption and Training Specialist work with Senior and Lead Specialist Engineers in the area of communication and collaboration, with a focus on M365 services and technologies. They will identify demand for new services and requirements and update and inform the M365 technical product group of relevant new updates within the M365 suite. They will develop and run specialised training on all products and services within M365 suite.

Main Responsibilities:
- To deliver user training on M365 technology and processes for new starters and existing staff using classroom and virtual training sessions
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Specialist Engineer and other Specialist Engineers kn the CEUS team to plan, design, develop and deliver in-house user training to support the work of Workplace Platforms in the area of M365 services.
- Mange the process of scheduling essential M365 training across the whole of UKHSA, negotiating with private offices to ensure that all levels of staff have been appropriately trained and are up to date with the essential materials.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of existing M365 technologies and develop sophisticated training materials to deliver them as well as help to shape policy in line with current training best practice and organisational policy.
- Contribute to organisational training policy.
- Be proactive in communicating and preparing for any policy changes, updates and upgrades. Update and inform the M365 technical product group of relevant new updates within the M365 suite and its roadmap, engaging with the relevant specialists in order to plan and implement changes.
- Build and maintain customer satisfaction across all areas of the UKHSA and build a cyber training function that is an exemplar across the Health community and wider government. Analyse the quality and effectiveness of training via feedback and proactively use that feedback to improve the cyber training offer for all UKHSA staff.
- Understand the technical aspects of the M365 product suite and convert that into user facing language for use in training, documentation, and internal communication
- Be jointly responsible for being community manager of a large network of M365 champions throughout UKHSA, ensuring dissemination of changes and updates from a user facing perspective.
- Ensure all training is in compliance with Cyber policy and contribute to the development of policy where appropriate
- Providing technical and administrative support for specialist systems, including the production of system specification documentation and the production of relevant procedures and protocols
- To conduct such work as directed by the Senior Engineer or Team Manager consistently with departmental standards and to agreed timescales
- Responsible for maintaining own specialist skills with appropriate professional training
- To provide the Senior Specialist Engineer or Team Manager with estimates of effort and timescales for tasks as required
- To comply with departmental and UKHSA requirements for the reporting of all absences
- Provide a level of work that adheres to the high standards and best practices in line with the SLAs as agreed with UKHSA Users
- Training and development: To provide training to the team members to enable them to provide quality support with the various technologies used by UKHSA as required, the training would be dependent on the individuals skills levels within the team.
- To assist the line manager in carrying out 1-2-1s during the year and PDRs at the start of year, mid-year and end of year
