Job summary

We are currently looking for a Mental Health Mission Regulatory and Reimbursement Leader to join our National Partnerships team within the Partnerships group.

These are full-time opportunities, on a fixed term basis until 30 January 2028. Part time working will also be considered for this role. The role will be based in 10 South Colonnade, Canary Wharf London, E14 4PU. Please be aware that this role can only be worked in the UK and not overseas.

Government departments and agencies are working towards implementing a minimum 60% attendance in office sites.

We are currently implementing a flexible, hybrid way of working, with a minimum of 4 days per month working on site to enable the collaboration and contact with partners and stakeholders needed to deliver MHRA business. Attendance on site is driven by business needs so depending on the nature of the role, this can flex up to 8 days a month, with the remainder of time worked either remotely or in the office. Some roles will need to be on site more regularly.

Main duties of the job

This is a strategic role in a £43m NIHR-funded Mental Health Mission programme whose ambition is to provide a sustainable research and regulation-ready environment in the UK that can support the pace and scale of mental health research needed to address patient need.The post holder will be the regulatory lead on the Missions operational team and work with partners,supported by the expertise in the Partnerships Group and wider Agency,to accelerate the development of new regulatory and evaluation approaches that facilitate timely approval and uptake of safe and effective innovative medicines and medical devices in the Mental Health space, including those based on Artificial Intelligence.
