Job description

Job responsibilities

Making the Isle of Man your new home

Whether you’re relocating solo or with your family, the Isle of Man offers a lifestyle that’s hard to match. Safe, welcoming and community-focused, it’s a place where you can feel at home quickly. You’ll find excellent schools, friendly neighbours, and the space to enjoy the things that matter most – whether that’s exploring coastal trails, joining local groups, or simply relaxing by the sea.

Despite its island charm, the Isle of Man is very much connected, with regular ferry services and over 200 weekly flights to the UK and Ireland, making it easy to stay in touch with friends and family on the mainland.

If you're curious about life here, visit www.locate.im to explore what the Island has to offer.

A workplace that rewards you

Earn more at Band 6 with salaries which are higher than and separate to UK NHS pay bands. Unlike the UK, your pay will increase after 12 months. You will also receive an additional £1,000 in your 1st, 13th and 25th payslip, in recognition of your work with Manx Care.

Keep more of the money you earn with the Isle of Man’s tax rate of 21% (compared to the UK’s 40%)

Cheaper accommodation in your first 6 months and then help to pay your rent/mortgage afterwards with a housing assistance allowance

Enjoy your time off with 27 days annual leave plus an additional 10 days for Isle of Man public holidays.

Enjoy peace of mind with a generous pension package ensuring your future financial wellbeing is looked after.

Comfortably relocate you, your things and your family with a £7,000 relocation package.

Don’t be charged to park, free car parking at all our sites

Travel plans? Ability to apply for an unpaid career break after 3 years with us
