Job summary

re you looking for a midwifery role that offers variety, flexibility, and professional growth? As a Registered Midwife, you will provide excellent supervision care and advice to women during pregnancy, labour and the post-partum period as a part of our friendly and supportive Midwifery Team, where both Hospital and Community Midwifery form part of one service, providing the unique opportunity to work across all areas and not be limited to just one aspect of midwifery care.

Main duties of the job

You will work in a fantastic modern 17-bed facility, which includes four birthing rooms, two birthing pools, a dedicated maternity theatre, anaesthetic room, state of the art neo-natal suite and a bereavement suite. Your contributions will also support in the seamless running of joint clinics with the Perinatal Mental Health Service and Diabetes Service. By joining this team, you will also have the opportunity to provide a large portfolio of excellent parent education services, including dedicated courses for first time and second time parents and 1:1 bespoke sessions for women with additional needs.
