Job summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team within the Community Wellbeing Service as a Counsellor on the beautiful Isle of Man.

Main duties of the job

In this role, you will provide island-wide counselling services to clients aged sixteen and older, managing caseloads, assessing, planning, and delivering timely and appropriate therapeutic treatment for complex cases. As part of our large multi-disciplinary team, you will act as the first point of contact, assessing clients as they present. Your responsibilities will include assessing and managing clinical risk and clinical need, making onward referrals to other services, and maintaining accurate client records. Additionally, you will provide expert advice, information, and training to other health professionals, and actively promote mental health awareness through your work as a Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor.
