Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic and innovative nurse to join Manx Care's Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) Team on the beautiful Isle of Man.

Main duties of the job

This is a varied role and includes working across various health and social care settings. You will promote and influence best practice in infection prevention and control, provide specialist advice and guidance for staff and patients, and improve the quality of care. You will lead the improvement of the link practitioner and audit programmes and contribute towards the improvement of healthcare associated infection rates. We are looking for someone who is able to bring many transferable skills and strengths to the role, including clinical leadership, change management and excellent oral and written communication skills. You will need to be self-motivated, able to influence others, and be able to prioritise your own work with a flexible approach.
