Job summary

Join our dedicated nurse-led team on the Eric and Marion Scott Oncology Day Unit as an Oncology Advanced Nurse Practitioner!Our state-of-the-art oncology unit opened in 2019 and provides 11 treatment chairs for systemic anticancer therapies and an on-suite for supportive treatments. We are a nurse-led service with remote input from Oncologists based at Clatterbridge Cancer Centre in the UK and we are excited to be expanding our team to support current patient needs and service demands.

Main duties of the job

Working autonomously, youll be responsible for: comprehensive and complex patient assessments, ordering and interpreting investigative work in forming differential diagnoses and subsequent treatment planning, admitting patients into appropriate clinical areas, providing follow up, and referring to other disciplines both locally and throughout the network in the UK. You will also be the main 2nd and subsequent cycle SACT prescriber.   • Masters level advanced practitioner through formal qualification, accreditation with the RCN or working towards with an appropriate level of clinical experience
