Job summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Specialty Doctor in Obstetrics & Gynaecology to join our supportive and forward thinking team on the Isle of Man, where we are aiming to become the best, small island-based health and care system in the world.

Main duties of the job

Nobles Hospital, situated in the capital of the Isle of Man, is equipped to the very latest standards, with an Education and Training Centre and library situated in the grounds. You will be joining the Womens, Childrens and Families Care Group which consists of five departments; the Jane Crookall Maternity Unit, Neonatal Services, Paediatric Services, Gynaecology Services, and Sexual Health, with additional integrated services in the community. This post is part of a full shift rota comprising of 8 doctors and attracts 10 PAs and 3 additional PAs, with the additional PAs being subject to change and job plan review. This is a first on-call post but the ability to function at ST3 level is essential as there are no middle grade staff and Consultants are non-resident.
