Job summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join us at the Community Mental Health Service for Adults, as our Approved Social Worker (ASW) Lead.

Main duties of the job

You will work collaboratively with the CMHSA Operational Manager to deliver a service that is responsive, responsible, accountable and flexible to the needs of the community. This role provides professional leadership and supervision to ASW's and promotes continuous development. You will have a key role in embedding high quality professional ASW practice, with particular emphasis on advanced practice, competence and confidence. You will have opportunities presented to develop your knowledge and skills within Mental Health Social Work, direct managerial responsibility and influencing legislation and positive organisational change.
