Job summary

Main duties of the job

You will provide a rapid response to Adult Safeguarding referrals, undertake risk assessments and risk analysis, and create and implement Adult Safeguarding Protection Plans, working within the 6 Safeguarding Principles. Incorporated into every aspect of your role will be the Making Safeguarding Personal principles (MSP) to ensure Service Users are at the forefront of decision making.

About the role

Are you passionate about providing high quality services to vulnerable adults? We’re looking for a Safeguarding Officer to join our small Adult Safeguarding Team.

You will provide a rapid response to Adult Safeguarding referrals, undertake risk assessments and risk analysis, and create and implement Adult Safeguarding Protection Plans, working within the 6 Safeguarding Principles. Incorporated into every aspect of your role will be the Making Safeguarding Personal principles (MSP) to ensure Service Users are at the forefront of decision making.

 21 days annual leave and all Manx and U.K. bank holidays; your annual leave will increase after your first year and again after your third year.

A relocation package of up to £7,000 based on receipts is available for this role.
