About the role and our team

We are seeking a passionate, hardworking and motivated Children’s Community Nurse to join our dedicated team on the beautiful Isle of Man, where we are aiming to become the best, small island-based health and care system!

In this role, your clinical skills, innovation and enthusiasm will be put to excellent use whilst supporting patients with a wide variety of conditions and implementing our integrated service to continue to reduce hospital attendances. You will manage your own clinical caseload of children and be responsible for undertaking appropriate assessments, investigations and examinations of patients.

Your focus will be on delivering day to day, evidence-based nursing care and case coordination for children and young people with acute, short and long term nursing needs to facilitate early supported discharge.

The Integrated Women's, Children's and Families Services are on a pathway of transformation and this is truly an exciting time to join our team as we are developing and expanding to provide care for patients within our community.

About the Island and relocating

Qualifications

Essential

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Leadership and management course or be willing to work towards.
• Possess V300 Non-Medical prescribing qualification or be willing to undertake.
