We are looking for a skilled, dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Paediatric Diabetes Team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Childrens Community Nursing Service as we evolve and increase our service provision. Main duties of the job
In this role you will be providing expert advice and support to children and young people with diabetes and their families, both in the community and hospitalsettings. You will be able to develop your existing knowledge andskillsin supporting children and their families with managing diabetesby delivering a structured education programme. You will also act as a professional resource for the multidisciplinary team. Our team consists of a Band 7 Specialist Nurse and is supported by a Consultant, Speciality Doctor and Paediatric Dietician. This is an exciting time to join our service as you will work with the team to continue to develop and enhance the service we provide ensuring our patients are receiving high quality care. This is also an excellent development opportunity for experienced Paediatric Nurses, who are not experienced in diabetes, to undertake a professional qualification in diabetes so you can develop as a Specialist Nurse.
