Main duties of the job

DAT is a community team working within a harm minimisation framework to provide a comprehensive, evidence-based assessment treatment and support service to people who are presenting with alcohol and/or drug dependency. We deliver an Island-wide substance misuse specialist service for people of all ages. You will be part of our friendly, hardworking team who have a can do attitude, in what is a difficult and complex speciality. In this role, you will support the DAT Manager with the day-to-day operational functions of the service, as well as contributing to the management of our team of dedicated professionals. Some of your other responsibilities will include: Triaging new referrals Providing management supervision Ensuring continued professional development of the team is kept up to date Being a positive role model for the team Contributing to service audit and development Chairing and participating in weekly MDT meetings Managing a small complex caseload of community based patients with substance misuse and/or and mental illness If you would love to work in a meaningful role where you can use your knowledge, skills and experiences to lead our team to thrive, we would love to hear from you!
