Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (ANNP) to join our friendly, dedicated team within Neonatal Services at Nobles Hospital on the Isle of Man! Main duties of the job

The Lead ANNP role crosses the clinical boundaries and promotes an expert level of advanced neonatal nursing and medical care by initiating and coordinating assessment, planning delivery and evaluation of the holistic needs of babies, parents/carers and families through evidence based practice following agreed policies and guidelines. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing professional standards of care across the spectrum of Neonatology and will play an active role in the mentoring of colleagues. You will use your knowledge and expertise to provide advanced clinical skills to babies whilst working in collaboration with the Consultant Neonatologist and Paediatric Team. This will include resuscitation, transportation, initiation of treatment (including mechanical ventilation) and the prescription, ordering and administration of drugs and intravenous fluids.
