Job summary
We are looking to appoint an experienced Manager to be responsible for the day to day management of a caseload of service users and staff team/s within the adult disability service with the philosophy and policies of the Service and Health and Social Care Committee. Les Alouettes supports 7 service users with complex needs within a community setting. The post holder will be a qualified and registerd Nurse (RNLD); Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist with extensive knowledge of Learning Disabilities and/or Autism. The role involves substantial practice leadership within a direct service delivery setting, and leardership of a diverse team to achieve excellent outcomes for our service users. The post holder will have demonstrated leadership and management knowledge within a similar setting. The post holder will have skills in governance, human resource management and supporting the management of budgets and excellent quality outcomes.
Les Alouettes is striving to achieve an excellent inspection rating, and therefore the post holder will be expected to maintain demonstrate high levels of initiative and leadership, ensuring accurate, robust and accountable management of this service.

Main duties of the job
To be responsible for the day to day management of a caseload of service users and staffteam/s within the adult disability service with the philosophy and policies of the Service andHealth and Social Care Committee. To be accountable for the ongoing review, monitoring andupdating of care programmes, ensuring they are based on the assessed needs and expressedwishes of the service user, as stated in their person centred plan and for ensuring that care isdelivered in accordance with professional and service standards. To be responsible andmanage the allocated budget as delegated by the service manager, Adult Disability Services.
The post holder will manage a staff team supporting service users with their own tenancies.Support is provided to service users to meet their physical, social, intellectual and emotionalneeds. This may include mental health issues, behaviours that challenge services and/or physical disability necessitating the use of hoists etc.
