Location: Opportunities available across all Essex locations Are you a Newly Qualified Social Worker looking to join an award winning ASYE programme within the Children and Families function where you will have a protected caseload as well as protected time for reflective supervision? Newly Qualified Social Worker - Children's Social Care Permanent, Full Time £31,161 per annum Location: Essex Working Style: Community-based worker Closing Date: 1st April 2024 Location: Opportunities available across all Essex locations Our Children and Families teams across Essex will be recruiting, the locations are: North (includes Colchester, Clacton-on-sea & Tendring) Mid (includes Chelmsford, Braintree & Maldon) West (includes Harlow, Epping and Uttlesford) South (includes Basildon, Brentwood & Rochford) Children and Families is recognised as a service in which social work can develop and prosper, with a culture of collaboration, integrity and compassion; promoting development and wellbeing of children, young people and their families; protecting them from neglect and abuse. Working together with partners delivering a range of early help, family support and effective social work interventions which build resilience, remove barriers and enable children and young people to look forward to a brighter future. You'll bring a positive attitude and willingness to learn and a passion to help others. The role will require you to be mobile throughout a wider operational area including travel around the county of Essex, potentially transporting service users and their belongings in an emergency. As such, a driving licence and car, or the ability to meet the mobility requirements of the role through other means is essential.
